Introduction
Facebook integration enables your agents to respond to Facebook messages directly from 3CX without having to log into Facebook. Facebook messages are posted as chats allowing to assign messages to a call queue rather than a single extension and even handle them in a queue-based strategy.
Step 1: Connect your Facebook page
- In the management console, go to “Messaging” and “Add Facebook”.
- In the “Configure” tab set the name for the integration.
- Click on “Continue with Facebook” to connect the 3CX Facebook App with your Facebook Pages. Select which pages you want to link to 3CX.
- Grant all the rights requested by the Facebook App. Integration may not work properly if you turn off these rights.
- Select the Facebook Page to connect and route messages to the 3CX. Access Token and Page ID will be auto-populated.
Step 2: Configure the Route
- Now go to the “Route” tab.
- Select the extension or queue to which you want to route the Facebook messages to.
- Press “OK” and then “Test” to verify port forwarding and certificate configuration.
- To enable integration with more Facebook Pages, click on “Add Facebook” and repeat the process .
